Yes! I now offer international shipping.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

I use reclaimed shipping materials whenever possible! Currently, about 80% of my shipping supplies are reclaimed! This is not only good for the environment- but helps to keep my packaging cost low!

Common reclaimed materials I use are bubble wrap, bubble pouches, craft packaging paper, cardstock, and newspaper!

Stained Glass Questions

Why does stained glass contain lead? Is it dangerous?

Stained glass suncatchers are made using a technique called "copper foil stained glass". This technique uses solder that contains part lead (I use 60/40 solder) to join the glass pieces together.

I recommend washing your hands after handling and keep of reach of children and pets.

How do you ensure that glass won't break during shipping?

I put a lot of love, time, and materials into making each piece- so it is very important to me that they arrive to you safe! I ship all my fragile items using the "box within a box" method. Each suncatcher is tightly packed to ensure it cannot break during transit. I ship using 2-day priority mail to reduce the time it is in transit.

How do I care for my stained glass piece?

Stained glass requires minimal care. If you need to clean your suncatcher- you can use a small amount of non-ammonia glass cleaner Do NOT use other cleaners- as it can damage the solder lines.

I recommend using non-ammonia Windex and then wiping the piece down with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol will neutralize the Windex so it doesn't damage the solder lines.

How should I hang up my suncatcher?

Do NOT use suction cups for suncatchers. Temperature and moisture changes can cause the suction cups to fail. I recommend using a screw-in hook on the base of your window pane.
